About

I started my career working at an escape room, where I spent years solving problems on the fly. I jerry-rigged puzzle mechanics, learned to build puzzles that flowed cohesively and carried a storyline, and discovered I loved the work of problem-solving. That pulled me toward coding.

After a full-stack development bootcamp in 2019, I worked at GoDaddy as a website support specialist, helping customers build the right site for their business. I later joined The Moderate Genius and helped build Eversend, where I learned how to create features that add value and how to think like someone using the product.

Customer-facing work taught me to bridge what’s technically possible with what people actually want, and that’s still how I work: understand the problem deeply, explore what’s possible, then build something that holds up for the people using it. I’m curious about how things connect and comfortable learning whatever a problem needs.

Based in Minneapolis, open to remote, and looking for my next role.

    Stock Indicator Tool

Problem. Technical analysis often lives in fragile spreadsheets that get copied and re-broken every time someone wants a different metric or a different set of stocks.

Built. A tool that pulls daily price data for a list of tickers, computes 25 technical indicators implemented from their definitions, and runs a hand-written Excel-style formula language so you can define your own indicators as named, reusable columns. The whole setup saves as a template. Streamlit app plus a CLI; CSV and Excel export.

Result. The metrics and the custom math are defined once and re-run on demand. Around 300 tests, roughly 94% line coverage, an independent review pass after each build phase.

    Conversational AI onboarding wizard

Problem. New customers had to complete Twilio phone-number provisioning and A2P 10DLC compliance registration before sending a single message. The steps were error-prone and generated a steady stream of manual support work.

Built. A conversational onboarding wizard that walked each new account through setup, phone-number selection, and the A2P registration flow, validating inputs at each step.

Result. New accounts could reach a sending-ready state without hands-on support.

SMS follow-up system: quiet hours and failure handling

Problem. The automated SMS follow-up sequence sent messages at all hours and, on a failed step, could silently stop or retry indefinitely.

Built. Added quiet-hours windows, per-lead time-zone resolution so sends land at a sensible local time, and one-time handling for failed steps so a failure neither loops nor disappears.

Result. Removed silent failures and repeated retries; follow-ups now send within each lead’s daytime hours.

About

I’m an All Star lead in Minnesota. I’ve been dancing West Coast Swing since 2016 and teaching since 2019, first with Longhorn Westies at UT Austin and now at Swingesota.

I teach the technical side: footwork, weight transfer, and connection, rather than a catalog of patterns. If you want the newest moves, I’m not your guy. If you have one that keeps not working and you can’t say why, I’d love to take it apart with you until it makes sense in your body.

I teach all levels and both roles!
